    I’ve tried a few apps like headspace, calm and muse but this is the one. This really is a course. Each of the 50 days adds something new and I found it motivating to experience progress. Others can feel repetitive and plain. Studying consciousness is not easy so when putting in the effort do it right. Also, for those wanting a bit more, the book of the same name is accessible and gives background to the journey.

    There are many mindfulness, many of them free, out there. This is just another one trying to differentiate themselves slightly and charging you a LOT for it. If Sam really cared about helping people then this wouldn’t be the case. Guess what his wife also has one you can buy. Just a commercial angle. There are much better and cheaper options out there. Shame on you Sam Harris!

    It’s a great app. The guided meditations are easy to follow. His voice is nice and calm and in a pleasant tone. The only thing is I find the app subscription really too expensive! Certainly also compared to other meditation apps. That’s really keeping me from subscribing. I mean 14.99 euro p/m is a lot. It’s as much as my Netflix subscription, which I am even allowed to share with a few family members (4 if I’m not mistaken).
